Job summary

Fluidstack is building the backbone for frontier AI networks. We seek engineers who can own external connectivity, negotiate terms, and design scalable backbone capacity across sites and cloud interconnects.

You will drive end-to-end connectivity with autonomy and urgency in a fast-paced environment. You will plan capacity years ahead, negotiate terms with providers, and ensure SLAs are met with a focus on latency, diversity, and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering carrier and long-haul connectivity at scale.
• Experience procuring dark fiber and lit services, with risk awareness in contracts.
• Ability to plan capacity with data and buy ahead of need.

Responsibilities

• Own external connectivity: carriers, dark fiber, internet exchanges, and cloud interconnects across the fleet.
• Plan backbone capacity between sites years ahead of the traffic that will fill it.
• Negotiate technical terms with carriers and fiber providers alongside sourcing.
• Own the connectivity roadmap: diversity, latency, and cost engineered deliberately.
