Job summary

Credence seeks a journeyman-level Network Engineer to support WPAFB and AF JWICS infrastructure. You will work with SCIFs and DoD partners to maintain secure, reliable connectivity and coordinate with ISSM on security controls.

Must hold active TS clearance and DoD 8140 qualifications, with 3–7 years of relevant experience. Travel and lifting requirements apply as described; competitive federal contractor benefits available.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Eligible for SCI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of technical or professional DoD experience, or 7+ years related experience including 5 years in DoD.
• DoD 8140 certifications: Network Operations, System Administrator, Technical Support Specialist at intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain WPAFB AF JWICS network infrastructure.
• Provide on-site support to WPAFB SCIFs requiring AF JWICS access and guidance to regional partners.
• Coordinate with ISSM on cybersecurity policy, RMF controls, ATO requirements, and continuous monitoring.
• Manage network monitoring and cybersecurity tools (Infoblox, SolarWinds, GEMONE, ISE).
• Prepare network documentation for ATO maintenance and HQ taskings.
• Conduct research, develop processes, and perform trend analysis as directed.
• Coordinate with 88th Communications Squadron, NASIC, Air Force intel partners, 690th ISS, ACC/A25J.
• Assist with LAN troubleshooting and maintenance for NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Maintain cryptographic equipment; perform hardware/firmware upgrades.
• Serve as COMSEC Responsible Officer for designated AFLCMC/IN customers.
