Eccalon LLC is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on high availability, performance, and security while aligning with business and application needs.

The ideal candidate will show hands‑on troubleshooting ability, deep networking knowledge, and experience with modern technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with enterprise networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, or network automation.
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, Network+).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and outages.
• Implement network security best practices and access controls.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and network standards.
• Collaborate with systems, cloud, security, and application teams.
