Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a highly skilled Network Developer to maintain secure, scalable enterprise infrastructures through advanced automation and scripting. You will design programmatic workflows to manage devices, F5 load balancers, and TLS/SSL configurations, transforming manual IT operations into automated, efficient systems.

This role requires deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and firewall configurations, with hands-on experience in Wireshark, TCPDump, and certificate management.

Qualifications

• Experience with network automation/scripting (REST APIs, Bash/C-shell, Python).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance w/Tier 5 investigation.
• Strong knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP network models, TCP 3-way handshake, and window scaling.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, LISP).
• Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain automations to manage Enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Plan and schedule installation or modification of network hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP network issues and multi-VRF Cisco environments.
• Capture and analyze network packets with TCPDump and Wireshark.
• Implement BGP, OSPF, and VRF-based networks.
• Manage TLS/SSL security configurations and certificate operations.
• Deploy and maintain network monitoring and alerting in production.
• Optimize and troubleshoot load balancing solutions and DNS-based traffic management.
