Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience with Cisco Firewalls and related networking gear.
• 4-6 years of experience with Cisco Client and VPN technologies.
• 4-6 years of experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
• 4-6 years of experience with Cisco Hardware Administration and CCNA/CCNP.
• Experience with Cisco MCSE and Wireshark is a plus.
• General networking infrastructure knowledge and MSCE/networking data center/cloud familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports statewide site-to-site tunnels infrastructure.
• Develops implementation and test plans for Cisco/Meraki technologies.
• Researches and analyzes software releases; performs upgrades.
• Accurately records, updates and documents requests in the IT service desk system.
• Monitors system logs; maintains performance, scalability and security.
• Provides remote troubleshooting for IT systems; collaborates with team for project success.
• Assesses implications of system-level decisions on subsystems and components.
