Job summary

Gr8ttek, LLC is seeking skilled Network Engineers and Technicians to support enterprise healthcare networking in Springfield, OR. You will work hands-on with Cisco equipment, configure routers/switches, and troubleshoot scalable networks.

The role includes on-call support and collaboration with senior engineers to deploy infrastructure improvements, with potential for contract-to-hire. Enterprise wireless experience and strong documentation are essential.

Qualifications

Position Overview

Gr8ttek is seeking skilled Network Engineers and Network Technicians with hands-on Cisco networking experience to support enterprise infrastructure for a major healthcare organization.
Springfield, OR (2 openings); 28-32/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network equipment.
• Perform hands-on configuration of enterprise routers and switches.
• Support BGP and OSPF routing configurations and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN connectivity issues.
• Configure and support VLANs, trunking, routing, and switching technologies.
• Diagnose network outages, connectivity issues, latency, and performance problems.
• Support enterprise wireless access points and controllers.
• Perform network equipment upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance.
• Monitor network performance and respond to technical incidents.
• Assist senior network engineers with infrastructure improvements and deployments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and equipment records.
• Provide secondary desktop and laptop support when needed.
• Participate in on-call support as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with Wireshark or packet analysis.
• Previous experience supporting networks in healthcare or other large enterprise environments.
• Experience providing desktop or laptop technical support.

Ideal Candidate
