Job summary

S2Technologies, LLC seeks a Network Engineer (Associate) to support enterprise operations at Schriever Space Force Base. You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and network appliances for NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance and hands-on Cisco CUCM/ISE experience, with DoD IT environments knowledge and SolarWinds monitoring. On-site, full-time position with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical field; minimum 3 years in network operations or support.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM, Cisco ISE, routers, and switches.
• Familiarity with DoD IT environments, including TCNOs, STIGs, and Remedy ticketing systems.
• Experience with SolarWinds or equivalent network monitoring tools.
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and network appliances.
• Install, configure, and manage Cisco devices and network gear.
• Implement secure configurations per DoD and Air Force standards.
• Perform IOS upgrades, patches, and configuration management.
• Support site surveys, equipment refresh, and accreditation activities.
• Monitor performance, address outages, and manage lifecycle tracking.
• Maintain network inventory and spare parts; support warranty replacements.
• Comply with TCNOs, NOTAMs, and NTOs as required.
• Participate in network security and vulnerability remediation.
• Document changes and maintain accurate configuration records.
