Job summary

RealmOne is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for an enterprise IT contract. You will work on routing, switching, security, VPNs, NAT, load balancing, and VoIP while meeting performance and security requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 5+ or 3+ years of relevant experience, IAT Level I certification, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• IAT Level I certification is required.

This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of Customer Service Specialists, Database Engineers, Information Systems Security Officers, Information Systems Security Engineers, SharePoint Developers, Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, and IT Engineers responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of multi-level Enterprise IT environment.

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our customers network infrastructure communication systems.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and methodologies.

The Level 1 Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.
• Gather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements.
• Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
• Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, Traffic Shaping Voice over IP (VoIP), GRE Tunneling, IP Security (IPSec), IP Encryption, Media over IP (MoIP), and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate.
• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools.
• Provide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional experience or a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support is required. Seven (7) years of relevant experience providing Network Engineer support may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree making the total experience requirement twelve (12) years in Network Engineering without a degree. Certifications Required:
• (IAT) Level I certification.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 120,000 - 165,000
