Friedman Williams is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Washington, DC team. The role focuses on supporting hybrid and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity across SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of network/infrastructure experience, hands-on Cisco/Meraki, SD-WAN, Intune/Autopilot, M365, AVD, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, Entra ID/AD, NetApp and backup/DR technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network/infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki devices and SD-WAN.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune/Autopilot, Entra ID/AD.
• Experience supporting hybrid/cloud infrastructure in professional services or law firms.

Responsibilities

• Manage network infrastructure and provide escalation-level support.
• Support SAN/NetApp, VMware, Windows Server, M365, Azure Virtual Desktop, AD/Entra ID, cloud backup/DR.
• Monitor security, troubleshoot, and document infrastructure processes.
• Lead cloud migrations and act as senior escalation point.

Onsite – 5 days a week in Washington, DC

The Network Engineer will support the firms hybrid and cloud infrastructure, providing escalation-level network and systems support while maintaining reliable connectivity across a modern SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, and cloud environment. The role will have a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and the firms ongoing migration from on-premises infrastructure to SaaS and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities include managing network infrastructure, SAN/NetApp, VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, and cloud backup/DR solutions. The engineer will also support network security, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and cloud migrations while serving as a senior escalation point for infrastructure issues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of network/infrastructure experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment, with hands‑on expertise in Cisco/Meraki, SD-WAN, Intune/Autopilot, M365, AVD, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, Entra ID/AD, NetApp, and backup/DR technologies. Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and customer-service skills are essential.
