Job description

This position is remote within the United States and cannot support any individuals outside of the United States.

Qualifications and Skills

1. General AWS Proficiency: Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, EFS, IAM, VPC, SSM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53.
2. Networking & Cloud Infrastructure: Strong networking skills, including Transit Gateway (TGW), VPNs, VPC Peering, VPC Routing, Subnetting, and BGP expertise for multi-cloud environments.
3. Security: Knowledge of security best practices, including Security Groups, NACLs, network segmentation, DDoS protection, and traffic flow security.
4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform expertise and experience with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA).
5. Automation & Scripting: Bash and Python scripting skills for automation tasks.
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Principles like Zero Trust, IAM best practices, encryption, and role-based access control.
7. Nice-to-Have Skills: Multi-cloud/hybrid networking, Azure/GCP networking, Kubernetes (EKS), Hashicorp Nomad, Windows automation, Active Directory, DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, security tools like AWS Network Firewall, GuardDuty.
8. Soft Skills: Troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration across teams.
9. Education & Experience: Minimum BS degree and 4 years of experience.
