• Administer LANs, WANs, and remote networks, including hardware, software, protocols, and security.
• Support and manage Solaris 11, Debian Linux, Juniper, Cisco, Mikrotik, ADTRAN networking gear, and related systems.
• Respond to customer calls regarding Internet and VoIP services.
• Document troubleshooting and resolution steps thoroughly.
• Install, configure, and maintain Solaris and Linux systems.
• Research and implement automated solutions for system administration.
• Monitor systems daily, verify hardware and system integrity, and review logs.
• Manage user accounts and apply system patches and upgrades.
• Maintain operational procedures and configurations.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience and certifications.
• JNCIA or CCNA certifications required; JNCIP-SP preferred.
• Juniper experience and certifications are highly valued.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
