Job Title: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah - Remote

Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000

Referral Fee: $1000 - $1500

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced individual to join the network engineering team as a Network Engineer III. In this position, you will manage and administer critical systems related to Network infrastructure, including Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, SD-WAN, Wireless, Arista Routers/Switches/TAPS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and network circuits. You will also contribute to the design, integration, deployment, and maintenance of the technical infrastructure throughout its lifecycle.

Desired Experience:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based network architectures using AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Configure and maintain virtual networks, including VPCs, VPNs, and subnets.
• Utilize Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate network deployments.
• Manage and modify infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with cloud services and applications.
• Configure and maintain core network infrastructure, leveraging advanced experience with Cisco and Arista routers and switches to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and implement robust wireless solutions using Cisco and Meraki wireless APs and controllers for seamless, secure wireless environments.
• Protect network security by configuring and managing firewalls (Palo Alto), IPS/IDS, and monitoring tools to defend against cyber threats.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using expertise in TCP/IP, layer 2 and layer 3 routing, and network analysis techniques.
• Manage and optimize virtual server environments with advanced VMware skills to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support VoIP systems, including Cisco CUCM and UCCX, for seamless voice communication.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring performance and uptime.
• Expertise in designing and implementing network solutions aligned with business needs.
