The Network Application Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and maintaining network solutions to support the ConneCT and SeleCT product solutions. This role serves as a critical link between customers, program management, order management, service, and engineering, addressing technical challenges, determining optimum solutions, documenting network designs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Due to contractual obligations, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) is required for this position.
- Design, implement, and maintain greenfield and brownfield network infrastructure at various client sites, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Travel to client sites to perform network installations, configurations, and troubleshooting as required.
- Deploy, configure, and manage network equipment, including routers, switches, OOB devices, firewalls, servers, and computers.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Perform network upgrades and patches to ensure security and reliability. Support and respond to network emergencies as needed. Occasional off-hours support required.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco and related devices.
- Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
- Experience with network design, including capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in a regulated environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Network+).
- Experience with Word, Excel, Visio, Python or similar programming language preferred.
Other Requirements:
- 50% travel to various domestic and international customer sites
- You must have a valid Real ID driver's license and reliable transportation. If you do not have a Real ID, you must have a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to pass a background check (e-QIP)
- The role involves working with the TSA, as a condition of employment and continued employment, you are required to obtain and maintain the necessary public trust security clearance(s).
