Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a network engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise routing and switching environment. You will work with Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 series, implement OSPF, VLANs, and EtherChannel, and support greenfield deployments.

The role requires CCNA, preferred CCNP Enterprise, and experience with SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and reading HLD/LLD docs; you will document procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US
• Hands-on experience in enterprise routing and switching
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 series switches (StackWise, EtherChannel/port-channel, VLANs, OSPF)
• Experience with a network monitoring platform (SolarWinds or equivalent) and threshold/alert configuration
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (ServiceNow or equivalent) for incident and change management
• Solid troubleshooting skills across Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues
• Ability to read and work from HLD/LLD documentation and network diagrams
• CCNA required; CCNP Enterprise strongly preferred
• Strong written documentation skills and clear verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders
• Comfortable working on greenfield/new-build deployments with evolving requirements

Responsibilities

• Support and harden enterprise routing and switching environments
• Configure and monitor Cisco Catalyst switches (StackWise, EtherChannel, VLANs)
• Manage network monitoring alerts and threshold configurations (SolarWinds or equivalent)
• Utilize ITSM tools (ServiceNow) for incident and change management
• Troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 issues and coordinate cross-functional resolutions
• Interpret HLD/LLD and diagrams to implement network changes
• Prepare and maintain clear documentation and reports
• Collaborate with teams on greenfield deployments and evolving requirements

• Working knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 series switches (StackWise, EtherChannel/port-channel, VLANs, OSPF)
• Experience with a network monitoring platform (SolarWinds or equivalent), including threshold/alert configuration
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (ServiceNow or equivalent) for incident and change management
• Solid troubleshooting skills across Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues
• Ability to read and work from HLD/LLD documentation and network diagrams
• CCNA required; CCNP Enterprise strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• SD-WAN deployment or administration experience
• Exposure to firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco Firepower FTD) at an awareness level
• Background in Linux systems administration
• Prior experience creating KT/training documentation for new or junior support teams
• Experience in a regulated industry (healthcare, manufacturing, or similar).
