Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC is seeking a Data Networking Implement & Maintenance specialist for an onsite contract role in O’Fallon, MO. The position focuses on designing and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 network flows, with emphasis on IP routing, traffic failover, and diagnostics.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with TCP/IP, Linux networking, and packet analysis using Wireshark or tcpdump. Preference for experience with resilient services and common network technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• TCP/IP, socket behavior, routing, ARP/GARP, VLANs, NAT, and high-availability patterns.
• Linux networking and troubleshooting systems.
• Wireshark, tcpdump, or equivalent packet-analysis tools.
• Practical experience with resilient or active-active network services.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network flows.

Description

• Design and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network flows.
• Support IP movement, routing, failover, traffic draining, and recovery.
• Analyze TCP connection and socket behavior during maintenance and failure scenarios.
• Perform packet-level diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with proxy developers on stateful traffic movement and connection preservation.
• Participate in integration, performance, resiliency, and production-readiness testing.

Required skills :
