Job summary

The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York seeks a Network Engineer to join our IT team. The role focuses on analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network infrastructure and related applications to meet organizational needs.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a valid New York State driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Science from an accredited institution; Health Information experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

As an integral part of the Network team, the Network Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components. Performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction. Provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations .
