Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer in New York, NY to join the Managed Services team. The role focuses on enterprise and service provider networking, delivering expert-level support in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

The ideal candidate will have CCNP Service Provider certification and 5+ years of experience with Nexus/ASR equipment, Nokia, Juniper platforms, and routing protocols such as IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.

Qualifications

• Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in a service provider network role with strong optics knowledge.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and deliver client-ready service.
• Experience with Nexus, ASR 1K/9K, Nokia and Juniper service provider platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality network and systems support within a Managed Services Center.
• Provide full lifecycle systems support for clients, including implementation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex issues.
• Own issues end-to-end until successful resolution is achieved.
• Maintain up-to-date technical expertise in networking technologies.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Document incidents, steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Lead and manage assigned technical projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate effectively in a team and work independently when needed.

Position Overview:

• Seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join the Managed Services team.
• In this role, will provide expert-level network and systems support for the clients in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• The ideal consultant will bring a strong blend of Enterprise and Service Provider networking experience, with deep expertise in investigating and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures.
• This individual is a proactive problem-solver with advanced technical skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

• Provide full lifecycle systems support for clients, including implementation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex issues.

• Collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently with minimal supervision.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Lead and manage assigned technical projects.
• Multi-task effectively while prioritizing workload in a dynamic setting.
• Maintain a customer-focused, results-driven attitude at all times.
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve both common and highly complex network / systems problems, independently or as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification, required.
• 5+ years of experience in a service provider network role, with strong knowledge of optics.
• Proven track record of successfully troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Proficient with Company, Nexus, ASR 1K and 9K equipment.
• Versed with Nokia and Juniper service provider level platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of VRF technology.
• In-depth understanding of routing protocols: IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security concepts.
• Background using IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow, preferred).
• Competent utilizing Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 / Year
