Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Must Haves:

- 5 years of experience working within IT roles with 2-3 years as a Network Engineer

- Experience coding in Terraform to support network infrastructure

- Experience working with firewall policy management

- Experience working within a major network technology platform such as Arista, Azure, Cisco, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto

- Working knowledge of SOX and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements

- Experience producing technical documentation, including functional requirements, design specifications, work instructions, and installation qualifications

- AZ 700 - Cert

Job Description:

- This person will work within both prem and Azure data environments.

- Work independently on data center and cloud network implementations from system requirements gathering through implementation and service support transition

- Perform network operation tasks: patching network infrastructure (Arista, Checkpoint, F5, etc), data circuit orders, performance monitoring, logical and physical network changes and testing.

- Automate common and complex tasks to improve efficiency and eliminate human error.

- Document newly implemented or existing systems according to quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements

- Identify and address technical or operational risks and inefficiencies with IT systems

- Develop and maintain documentation for operational best practices and systems maintenance

- Collaborate with project managers in development of detailed project plans

- Develop and execute support transition plan for system implementations

- Provide assistance for issues escalated from downstream support teams

- Firewall policy management within a segmented environment (on-prem and Cloud) and understand change control components that connect System B to System A

- Work with Barracuda as that is their WAF on-prem, and the F5 does load balancing and SSL offloading

• - Write in Terraform to support infrastructure as a code and to manage network infrastructure like routers, switches, and firewalls, using code instead of manually configuring them through an interface
