Job summary

A consulting firm in IT is seeking a network engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. Candidates should be familiar with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, as well as load balancers such as F5. This role requires expertise in IP Address management, WAN acceleration technologies, and network management tools. Ideal candidates will be responsible for the design and operations of secure networks including VPNs and remote access technologies.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Checkpoint and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with load balancers such as F5 or Citrix Netscaler.
• Proficiency in design, configuration, and operations of IP Address/DHCP management.
• Experience in implementing WAN acceleration technologies like Silver Peak or Riverbed.
