Job summary

WorkNovas LLC in Palo, IA is seeking a Network Engineer for a 6+ month on-site assignment. The role focuses on deploying and supporting network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and cabling.

Responsibilities include Layer 1-2 troubleshooting, provisioning Cisco devices, VLAN implementation, and participating in upgrades and migrations. Candidate should have 1–3 years of network experience and familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and security

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of network support or network engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing and Switching, and Network Security Fundamentals.
• Experience working with Cisco networking equipment.

Notes

• They need someone to handle anything required at the network level and anything from an IT perspective network engineer support as they keep deploying network stack to be installed etc.
• They will be deploying cisco SDA Technology
• Assist with deployment and installation of network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
• Perform Layer 1 and Layer 2 network troubleshooting.

• Support VLAN implementation and network segmentation initiatives.
