Job summary

Conch Technologies Inc in Palo, IA seeks a Network Engineer for a 6+ month onsite assignment to support and deploy our network stack. You will configure and troubleshoot Cisco devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, and assist with cabling and infrastructure upgrades.

The role requires 1–3 years of network experience, CCNA preferred, and a solid grounding in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching, and network security in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of network support or network engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing and Switching, and Network Security Fundamentals.
• CCNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support network stack deployments.
• Install and configure switches, routers, firewalls, APs, and cabling.
• Perform Layer 1 and Layer 2 troubleshooting.
• Configure Cisco devices according to standards.
• Assist with VLANs and network segmentation initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations and expansions.

• They need someone to handle anything required at the network level and anything from an IT perspective network engineer support as they keep deploying network stack to be installed etc.
• They will be deploying cisco SDA Technology
• Assist with deployment and installation of network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
• Perform Layer 1 and Layer 2 network troubleshooting.
• Provision and configure Cisco network devices according to established standards.
• Support VLAN implementation and network segmentation initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects.
• 1-3 years of network support or network engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing and Switching, and Network Security Fundamentals
