Job summary

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or network security and CCNP level knowledge of routing and switching, alongside familiarity with multiple vendor technologies.

Successful job requires:

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer/Network Security Engineer
• CCNP level knowledge of routing and switching
• Understanding of network architecture (HLD/LLD) including firewalls, VPNs and L4-L7 load balancers (F5, NGINX, HAProxy)
• Experience with enterprise, core and ISP class networks
• Strong knowledge of network technologies: STP, VLAN, link aggregation (M-LAG), stacking
• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN
• Knowledge of provider-level technologies: MPLS, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs
• Knowledge of data centre technologies: VXLAN, VXLAN EVPN, MLAG, BGP
• Experience with multiple vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Aruba, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet

Would be a plus:

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and inventory (NetBox, SolarWinds, Nagios)
• Knowledge of network automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with networking in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP): VPC, VPN, load balancing, CDNs
