Job summary

DuraServ in Coppell, TX (On-Site) is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will work with the Network Operations Center (NOC), security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity.

The role emphasizes IP network design, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, Azure Virtual Networks, and modern architectures including SD‑WAN and SASE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years combined Palo Alto firewall, Azure networking, and site-to-site experience desirable.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Stratocloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/cloud).
• Develop IP addressing schemes, routing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with NOC for monitoring and incident response.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls and security appliances.
• Design and support site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Implement Azure Virtual Networks, peering, and gateways.
• Support SD-WAN solutions and branch connectivity.
• Contribute to SASE architecture and cloud security services.
• Troubleshoot, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role works closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC), security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with IP network design, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, Azure Virtual Networks, and modern networking architectures including SD‑WAN and SASE.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/cloud)
• Develop and maintain IP addressing schemes, routing, and documentation
• Partner with the NOC for monitoring, incident response, and escalation
• Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto preferred)
• Design and support site‑to‑site and remote access VPNs
• Implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, peering, and gateways
• Support SD‑WAN solutions and branch connectivity
• Contribute to SASE architecture and cloud‑based security services
• Perform troubleshooting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as required

Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Combined experience in Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking, and site to site connection practices of 2 or more years with education is desirable.
• Previous experience with Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking preferred.
