Job summary

Lentech Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure complex network environments for national-security projects. Candidates must hold an active TS.SCI with FSP from Maryland, with CCNA/CCNP and Security+ certifications, and at least 3 years of recent network engineering experience in similar scopes.

Proficiency with Linux and DoD-level certifications is required. Role includes deploying scalable network architectures, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, and

Qualifications

• Active TS.SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) from MD.
• CI/FS polygraph within last 6 years.
• Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within last 3 years).
• Proficient with Linux.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Security+ certification.
• Certifications: IAT Level III baseline per DoD 8570.01-M.

• Perform Network Engineering tasks and functions.


• Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades.


• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.


• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.


• Resolve network issues.


• Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.


• Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP from MD


• CI/FS polygraph dates are within the last 6 years


• Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.


• Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years)


• Proficient with Linux.


• CCNA or CCNP certification.


• Security+ certification.

Desired

• Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.


• Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls


• Palo Alto firewalls


• Dell and HPE Linux servers


• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.

Salary range

$181,898.00 $190,260.00
