Job summary

DuraServ in Coppell, TX, is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will work with the Network Operations Center (NOC), security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure connectivity, with hands‑on experience in IP design, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, Azure VNETs, SD‑WAN, and SASE.

This is an in‑office role with on‑call responsibilities and a focus on documentation, runbooks,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN and cloud networks.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and SASE architectures.
• Proficiency with Azure networking and VPNs.
• Ability to document IP schemes and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/cloud).
• Develop and maintain IP addressing schemes, routing, and documentation.
• Partner with the NOC for monitoring, incident response, and escalation.
• Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto preferred).
• Design and support site‑to‑site and remote access VPNs.
• Implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, peering, and gateways.
• Support SD‑WAN solutions and branch connectivity.
• Contribute to SASE architecture and cloud‑based security services.
• Perform troubleshooting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as required.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with IP network design, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, Azure Virtual Networks, and modern networking architectures including SD‑WAN and SASE.

Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Combined experience in Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking, and site to site connection practices of 2 or more years with education is desirable.
• Previous experience with Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking preferred.
