Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support a dynamic government program. You will manage on‑prem and remote networks, coordinate with development contractors, and ensure robust network operations across multiple projects to enable national security missions.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly and extensive experience in firewall configurations, enclave-enterprise integration, and network documentation. On-site with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly.
• Experience maintaining and configuring CISCO firewalls.
• Experience integrating enclave networks with enterprise networks.
• Experience documenting an IT / networking infrastructure.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network routes, tunnels and VPNs.
• Bachelor's degree with ≥9 yrs, Master’s ≥7 yrs, or PhD/JD ≥4 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new network routes and configurations to external organizations and their systems.

Description SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Network Engineer to support a highly dynamic and growing program with one of our US Government customers. You will be a part of a large multi-year contract that supports our customer in systems engineering and integration across a broad portfolio of projects. You will come into a program that enjoys a close working relationship with the customer, bringing exquisite technical expertise to bear on real world problems, helping the customer execute real world missions that impact National Security on a daily basis. This close relationship, along with the program's longevity (20 years), ensures that as a new team member you will find a depth of support for growth and development that is unmatched, all while making a difference - daily. Your role in the program will focus on supporting the customer in the management of various on‑premise systems and networks. You will work directly with the system as well as the development contractors that support the system integration. You will provide both general networking expertise to guide the development efforts and be the primary liaison between the customer and development contractors for all network issues. Communication skills are of key importance in this role.

Target salary range $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
