Job summary

Gogo is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise and service-provider networks. The role is hybrid, based in Broomfield or Chicago, with onsite three days per week and remote two days per week.

You will collaborate with Network Operations, Security, Cloud, and Engineering to ensure high availability, security, and scalable performance, while documenting procedures and supporting upgrades and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, administration, or related infrastructure role.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise and service provider network infrastructure for high availability and performance.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Partner with Network Operations, Security, Cloud, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable network solutions.
  • Lead and support network upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to automate network administration and deployment processes.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident management as required.
