Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to support a large, distributed network environment across stores, corporate locations, and distribution operations. You will monitor alerts, manage tickets, troubleshoot connectivity, and configure routers, switches, APs, circuits, and IP phones.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, VLANs, WAN, VPNs, and VoIP deployments, plus CCNA certification or prior holder. On-call rotation is included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in an enterprise or multi-site environment.
• CCNA required or previously held/expired, with demonstrated CCNA-level networking knowledge
• Strong network troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently triage and resolve connectivity issues
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless, WAN, and VPN technologies
• Comfortable configuring, deploying, and physically working with routers, switches, wireless access points, and other network equipment
• Independent, on-call rotation approximately one week every five weeks
• Experience supporting large multi-site or distributed environments with hundreds of locations
• Retail, branch, distribution center, or similar high-volume network experience
• Cradlepoint/Ericsson, LTE/5G failover, or wireless WAN experience
• SD-WAN or DMVPN exposure
• Palo Alto experience or certification
• VoIP/IP phone deployment or Cisco Unified Communications experience
• Network automation exposure using Python, Ansible, or APIs

They should be comfortable independently handling initial troubleshooting, resolving issues within their scope, and escalating larger incidents when needed.
