Job summary

TEK Systems is seeking an Intermediate Network/Infrastructure Engineer to provide hands-on infrastructure and network support in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, IT/OT connectivity, and Windows Server infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has experience in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, life sciences, laboratory, or manufacturing setting and is comfortable supporting critical onsite infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on networking and infrastructure engineering experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with Cisco switching, firewalls, and enterprise network troubleshooting.
• Windows Server administration and virtualization (Nutanix/VMware) knowledge.
• Experience supporting IT/OT connectivity in a manufacturing or life sciences setting.
• Familiarity with GxP/CSV requirements and audit readiness.
• Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, approximately 4 days per week.

• Support Azure, AWS, Veeam backup/recovery, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Provide infrastructure support for manufacturing, quality, and laboratory systems.
• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and systems lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Cisco switches, wireless networks, and Palo Alto firewalls

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
