Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
ICON is seeking a Network Engineer to own and harden the site environment for Titan’s robotics print suite in Austin, TX. You will design reliable network architectures, ensure OT/IT traffic coexist safely, and partner with engineering teams to deliver low-latency connectivity for live tests.
You’ll implement segmented networks, remote access with failover options, and proactive monitoring, then document topology and failure modes to scale with the test program.
ICON builds Titan, a multi-story robotic construction printer. The print suite runs several networked subsystems, MGM/printer, pump, mixer, e-axis, fine positioner, positioning sensors, that all depend on site networking to talk to each other and to remote engineering teams, some of them international. We're looking for a network engineer to take ownership of that site environment: design it, harden it, and run it like the piece of critical infrastructure it is.
The person in this role will be the one who architects for reliability from the ground up, sets the standard for how OT and IT traffic coexist safely, and gives engineering teams a network they can trust mid-test.
