Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking a Network Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI for a contract role. You will manage and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and SDWAN environments, configuring Cisco routers, switches and wireless controllers, and ensuring network performance and security.

The role involves incident management, network changes, and collaboration with server, cloud, and security teams. On-call support and documentation duties are required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Cisco SDN networks and devices.
• Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches and wireless controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for latency, connectivity and performance issues.
• Knowledge of security policies and network hardening practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and SDWAN environments.

• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform incident management, problem management and RCA.
• Execute network changes, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Support firewall, load balancer, NAC/ISE and remote access solutions.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident handling.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

• Perform incident management problem management and root cause analysis RCA
• Execute network changes upgrades and maintenance activities
• Support firewall load balancer NAC ISE and remote access solutions
• Work closely with server cloud and security teams to resolve infrastructure issues
• Maintain network documentation topology diagrams and operational runbooks
• Participate in oncall support and major incident troubleshooting
