Avalore, LLC seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain the WDP System's network infrastructure for secure, high-performance connectivity in cloud and hybrid environments.
You will configure devices, implement SDN solutions, establish security controls, and optimize routing. The role includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting configurations for reliable IT operations.
The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the WDP System's network infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity within cloud and hybrid environments. They will configure and manage network devices, implement software-defined networking solutions, establish security controls such as firewalls and segmentation, and optimize routing and traffic flows for high performance.
Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, automating configurations, and maintaining detailed documentation. They will also conduct capacity planning, ensure compliance with security policies, participate in disaster recovery planning, and collaborate with IT teams to meet application requirements. Additionally, they will evaluate emerging networking technologies, contribute to IT infrastructure strategy, and stay current with best practices to enhance the network's reliability and security.
SECRET Security Clearance Required CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification (for Junior/Journeyman roles) SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, or GFACT (for Senior roles)
We are actively seeking multiple levels: Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
Good communication skills, self-starter mindset. Professional proficiency in English is required. Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Avalore will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Work Environment: Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment). Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Salary estimates for this job range from $92,000 - $195,000.
