Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bellevue, USA, is seeking a network design engineer to drive end-to-end design, planning, and deployment readiness for Microsoft CorpNet infrastructure across global datacenters.

The role focuses on secure, scalable LAN/WAN/WLAN connectivity, creates high- and low-level designs, and collaborates with multiple teams through deployment, validation, and handover processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise/Data Center Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Experience with network design, routing, switching, wireless infrastructure, IP addressing, and deployment.
• Ability to create design docs, BoMs, and deployment plans.
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation capabilities.
• Experience with large-scale datacenter infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design LAN, WAN, and WLAN architectures, including IP addressing, VLAN planning, uplinks, and device configurations.
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, wireless designs, and Bills of Materials.
• Present and defend designs in Design Review Boards and obtain technical approvals.
• Collaborate with ITIMs, WWT, Site Operations, CSEO, and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support deployment execution, perform post-deployment validation, network stability testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure project closure through validation, documentation updates, lessons learned, and operational handover.
• Drive standardization, risk mitigation, and governance across datacentre deployments globally.

Role Summary

Responsible for end-to-end design, planning, and deployment readiness of Microsoft CorpNet infrastructure across global datacenters. The engineer owns network solution design from project intake through deployment support and project closure, ensuring secure, scalable, and standards-compliant LAN, WAN, and WLAN connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design LAN, WAN, and WLAN network architectures, including IP addressing, VLAN planning, uplinks, and device configurations.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), wireless designs, and Bill of Materials
