Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a Network/Data Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing custom data network operational support and engineering for complex global projects, requiring expertise in managing interoperability between Cisco and Juniper platforms. Candidates should be proficient in Python and have experience with relevant tools like Netmiko and Ansible. Pay ranges from $50 to $55 per hour on W2, with access to various benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming and automation.
• Experience with Netmiko, PyATS, PyEZ, and Napalm (at least 2 out of the 4).
• Ansible IT automation experience.
• Linux experience, including shell scripting.
• Experience in new build configuration on Cisco IOS or Junos OS.
• Routing/L3 provisioning, life cycle, and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of MPLS VPN Architecture (P, PE, CE).
• Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA certification (or higher).

Responsibilities

• Manage interoperability between Cisco and Juniper Layer 3 platforms.
• Deploy new routers, switches, and trunk capacity.
• Provide real-time in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of incidents.
• Participate in project-based work within a team environment.
• Work occasional night shifts.
