Job Summary:

SafeRide Health is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Credentialing Specialist to join our growing team (Remote/Hybrid). In this role, you will be a key liaison between our Credentialing and Vendor Management teams, leading projects that enhance operational compliance, improve credentialing processes, and support strategic initiatives across the transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credentialing & Compliance Oversight
  • Maintain high standards of driver and vehicle compliance across clients, subcontractors, and states.
  • Guide new providers through the credentialing phases of onboarding.
  • Monitor and enforce company-level requirements for onboarding, insurance, certifications, state registrations, and SLA adherence.
  • Operational Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with Transportation Operations leadership to identify process gaps and implement timely solutions.
  • Lead data-driven projects to improve credentialing workflows, vendor management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Document and standardize internal operational strategies, including developing SOPs and job aids.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Build and maintain external compliance reports.
  • Analyze credentialing and vendor data to surface actionable insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Network Vendor Management team to drive network compliance efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to support credentialing and compliance needs.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the success of SafeRide’s operations.

Required Background:

  • 1+ years of experience in credentialing, compliance, transportation operations, vendor management, or project management.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and working with data to extract actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and develop practical, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to regulatory compliance and operational detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a growth-stage company.
  • Experience in logistics, healthcare transportation, or transportation-tech industries.
  • Prior experience in credentialing subcontractors, preferably within non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards across multi-state operations.
