The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Availability Quality Lead to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, monitoring network performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor the network availability QA team.
- Identify and track program risks and action items to closure, assessing risk and cost of changes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with other areas, service providers, customers, and technical staff.
- Deliver briefings and training to leadership, teams, and individuals to ensure understanding of objectives.
- Keep senior management informed of activities and issues early and frequently.
- Ensure compliance with standards and policies; stay updated on process changes.
- Utilize ServiceNow dashboards and tools to report process status.
- Support measurement and reporting for meetings and as needed.
- Identify practices for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Manage end-to-end projects following procedures and templates.
- Develop and maintain project management documentation.
- Lead efforts to ensure high performance and quality.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs.
- Set goals and objectives for teams and manage daily operations.
- Raise issues, validate results, and ensure resolution of discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze network performance data for trends and issues.
- Collaborate with teams to implement improvements.
- Develop quality assurance strategies for capacity management initiatives.
- Create and present reports on network availability and quality metrics.
- Lead quality audits of capacity management processes.
- Implement best practices for network availability and resilience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet quality standards throughout projects.
- Assess impact of changes on availability and other services.
- Lead a team of Availability Management Process Analysts.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with poly required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Service Management workflows and ITSM processes.
- ITIL V3 or 4 certification and training.
- Experience with Network Capacity Management processes.
- Strong understanding of network technologies and principles.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automation testing and scripting languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of network protocols and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, SDN).
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
