TekWissen ® is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Network Engineering team in Redmond, Washington. The candidate will develop automation solutions using Python, Java, and TypeScript to enhance network reliability and streamline deployments.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with network engineers to tackle operational challenges effectively while creating tools and systems for network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
• Fundamentals in computer science: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Linux fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting technical systems under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain network automation tools and services using Python, Java, and TypeScript.
• Develop APIs and workflows that automate network provisioning and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex network systems and automation pipelines.
• Create dashboards to monitor network health and automation reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate operational needs into software solutions.
