Job summary

Critical Solutions is seeking a Network Automation Engineer in Norfolk, VA with an active DoD Secret clearance. The role focuses on configuration lifecycle, baseline management, and automated remediation across a global network footprint.

Responsibilities include NMS tool administration, Nautobot integration, and CI/CD pipeline engineering using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git. Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF, VLANs, and vendor OS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline.
• Proficient in Network Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Python, Jinja2.
• Experience with NMS platforms and topology/IPAM data synchronization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Git, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Establish baselines for production network nodes and manage drift detection.
• Automate configuration push and rollback procedures with CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide Tier-3 support for complex outages and coordinate patch campaigns.
• Generate compliance and vulnerability reports for leadership and audits.
