Job summary

Triune Infomatics Inc in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on Aruba networking expertise to support campus modernization across wired and wireless infrastructure.

You will configure Aruba Central, CX switches, APs, and controllers, validate designs, and lead deployments with cross-functional teams, including field services. AOS 8/10 knowledge and 802.1X/NAC are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba Networking solutions and Aruba Central.
• Experience with Aruba Wireless/WLAN (AOS 8/AOS 10) and Aruba CX (AOS-CX).
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, BGP/OSPF/STP and network security.
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass, NAC, and 802.1X.
• RF design, wireless optimization, and site surveys are a plus.
• Experience in network discovery, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot HPE Aruba networking solutions (Aruba Central, CX switches, APs, controllers).
• Support enterprise wired and wireless network discovery, design validation, configuration, and deployment.
• Work with VLANs, L2/L3 routing, ACLs, segmentation, NAC.
• Support Aruba WLAN technologies and RF design, site surveys, and optimization.
• Assist with fabric deployment, migrations, cutovers, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and field services to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation, configurations, and site survey records.
• Participate in planned overnight or weekend maintenance windows.

Job description

Location: Southern California / West Coast (LA-based candidates preferred)

We are looking for experienced Network Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in HPE Aruba Networking to support an enterprise campus network modernization initiative involving wired and wireless infrastructure, network fabric deployment, and migration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot HPE Aruba networking solutions, including Aruba Central, Aruba CX switches, wireless access points, and gateways/controllers.
• Support enterprise wired and wireless network discovery, design validation, configuration, and deployment.
• Work with VLANs, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, ACLs, network segmentation, and Network Access Control (NAC).
• Support Aruba WLAN technologies, RF design, wireless site surveys, access point placement, and wireless optimization.
• Assist with fabric deployment, network migrations, cutovers, post-migration validation, and troubleshooting.
• Work with technical teams, project stakeholders, and field services to coordinate implementations and resolve network issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, network configurations, site survey details, and as-built records.
• Participate in planned overnight or weekend maintenance windows as required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with HPE Aruba Networking and Aruba Central.
• Experience with Aruba Wireless/WLAN (AOS 8/AOS 10), Aruba CX Switching (AOS-CX), and enterprise campus networks.
• Good understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, STP, and network security/segmentation.
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass, NAC, and 802.1X.
• Knowledge of RF design, wireless optimization, and Ekahau/site survey tools is highly desirable.
• Experience with network discovery, implementation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or HPE Aruba certifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EVPN-VXLAN, network fabric deployments, and underlay/overlay concepts.
• Experience with Aruba access points, gateways/controllers, and campus switching.
• Certifications such as ACMA, ACMP, ACSA, ACMP/ACMX, or equivalent HPE Aruba credentials.
• Willingness to travel and support after-hours network implementations.
