Team Lead at Saragossa – Creating competitive advantage for investment technology organizations - DevOps / SRE / Cloud / Platform

Be a generalist network expert with responsibility for the design and implementation of both corporate and trading networks at this financial services vendor.

It’s a large environment, but you’ll see the impact of your work quickly and feedback loops will be shorter. Limited red tape and a desire to implement things quickly are commonplace here. You’ll be given immediate autonomy and freedom to suggest improvements where you see they’re needed.

You’ll begin in a generalist role, which of course won’t be right for everyone, but for you, it will mean you can work across various projects within the networking space. Some projects will be more focused on the internal Enterprise network, others will focus on optimizing the networks required for high speed trading, plus much more.

You’ll need to come from a background of designing and managing networks, ideally in a latency-sensitive environment. You will also need some capital markets experience.

You will need to of worked with the core network providers including Arista, Juniper and Cisco. You will also need to have some automation, ideally with Python.

You can expect a base salary up to 250k + a discretionary bonus. It’s a hybrid working environment with 3x days per week on-site required.
