Job summary

Oklahoma State Government in Oklahoma City seeks a Network Architect to design and govern secure, scalable enterprise networks across OMES and partnering agencies, with primary focus on Juniper environments and Cisco technologies.

This on-site role offers collaboration with Network Engineering, Security, Cloud Architecture, and other teams, supporting modernization goals and ensuring compliant network services for IT Enterprise Governance.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in network engineering, architecture, or large-scale enterprise network design and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and govern scalable, secure enterprise network architectures across OMES and partner agencies.
• Develop network reference architectures, diagrams, and patterns for routing, switching, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Security, Cloud Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to guide solution design and technology selection.
