Network Architect EngineerBishop & Company is recruiting on behalf of a government contracting client seeking a Network Engineer Architect to support enterprise technology initiatives in a secure, mission-focused environment. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys working with customers, engineers, and project teams to develop practical technology solutions that support operational and business objectives.Position OverviewThe Solutions Architect will help design, plan, and implement technology solutions that support enterprise systems and business operations. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, this individual will assist in translating customer requirements into scalable and effective solutions while supporting project execution from planning through implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with customers and internal teams to gather requirements and identify technology solutions that align with mission and business objectives.Assist in the design and integration of enterprise IT systems, applications, and infrastructure solutions.Support the development of technical roadmaps, implementation strategies, and system improvement initiatives.Evaluate existing environments and recommend enhancements to improve performance, security, and operational effectiveness.Participate in project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, risk identification, and resource planning.Support requirements management and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.Work closely with engineers, project managers, cybersecurity personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.Research emerging technologies and industry best practices and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate.Contribute technical input to customer discussions, project proposals, and modernization initiatives.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and solution designs.Required QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise IT environments, systems engineering efforts, or technology integration projects.Understanding of systems architecture, infrastructure technologies, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise applications.Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and develop practical solution recommendations.Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience participating in project-based environments and cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting.Security RequirementsActive Secret Security Clearance required.Required CertificationCandidates must possess an approved DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III certification, including one of the following:CASP+ CE / SecurityXCISSP (or Associate of ISC2)CCNP SecurityCISAGCEDGCIHCCSPBishop & Company provides recruiting and placement services for client companies and opportunities for job seekers throughout Hawaii, with emphasis on executive search, direct hire, temp to hire, and temporary/contract staffing .
