Job summary

Collaborate Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior network engineer to design, implement and manage the TI data center infrastructure in Reno, NV.

You will handle OSPF/BGP routing between Data Center Colo and Cloud providers, configure and manage VPCs, and ensure robust network security with firewalls and VPNs. The role requires deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, load-balancing, and automation, including overlays such as VXLAN, EVPN, and EPLAN.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSPF and BGP routing between Data Center Colo and Cloud providers.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing VPCs, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of network security services, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Proficiency in using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ngrep, Nmap, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes).
• Responsible for supporting the planning, design, implementation, transition and management of the complex modern TI data center infrastructure.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity, load-balancing, fabric infrastructure, storage networking, planning network services, automation, and orchestration.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot the Data Center Layer 2 overlays such as VXLAN, EPLAN and EVPN.
