The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Network Architects to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
2. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
3. May also design network and computer security measures.
4. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
5. Perform Tier IV network support.
6. Assess business and applications requirements for the customer’s data and voice networks.
7. Plan, design, and upgrade network installation projects.
8. Establish and maintain backup, version-control and malware defense systems.
9. Troubleshoot network architectures and recommend system fixes and enhancements.
10. Make recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs.
11. Communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.
12. Work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. Experience in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
2. Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
3. BA/BS + 10 years experience, or AA/AS + 12 years experience.
4. Must have a strong background (10+ years) in the design and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as an excellent working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols (e.g., Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multiprotocol Labeling Switching (MPLS).
5. Current DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
6. Professional-level certification in Network Technology (e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, etc.).

Desired:

1. CCIE/JNCIE Certified
2. Knowledge of and experience with USSTRATCOM
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
5. Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
