Job summary

Cymertek Corporation seeks a Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable and secure network infrastructures for a dynamic federal contractor environment. This role collaborates with multiple technical teams to deliver robust architectures, evaluate new technologies, and ensure reliable performance across complex systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong TCP/IP and BGP knowledge, extensive network security expertise, and experience with cloud networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• Alternate experience: 4–5 years in lieu of degree may be acceptable.
• Strong background in network architecture and security principles required.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of network architecture and design.
• Experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP).
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

• Strong understanding of network architecture and design
• Experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP)
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
• Familiarity with cloud network infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Ability to design scalable, high-performance networks

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in network design tools (e.g., Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3)
• Expertise in firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs
• Experience with network automation and scripting
• Understanding of network performance monitoring tools
• Knowledge of IPv6 addressing and implementation
