The Network and Telecommunications Engineer is a hands-on technical specialist responsible for the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise voice and network systems across MarinHealth. This role leads support of Cisco Unified Communications platforms—including CUCM, Unity (CUC), UCCX, CER, CIMP, and Informacast—while also contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, scalable network infrastructure.
Working closely with senior engineers and IT teams, this position supports a complex network environment leveraging Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and Arista technologies across hospital and clinic locations. Responsibilities include managing enterprise voice services, maintaining paging and local telephony systems, and providing Tier 2/3 support for escalated network and telephony issues.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Cisco collaboration tools, network architecture, VLAN segmentation, and routing protocols, as well as physical infrastructure support such as cabling and device installations. This individual also serves as a technical resource and mentor, partners cross-functionally to optimize user experience and clinical workflows, and ensures compliance with healthcare standards.
This is an on-site position based in Greenbrae, California, with participation in a 24×7 on-call rotation to support operational continuity and service excellence.
