Job description

As our Network and Hybrid DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex hybrid infrastructure spanning both on-premises data center and AWS cloud environments. This position requires deep expertise in advanced networking, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation with a hands-on approach to all aspects of infrastructure management. This position will report directly to the VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain robust network architecture across hybrid environments
  • Implement high-performance connectivity solutions between on-premises and cloud systems
  • Configure and optimize routing protocols and traffic management
  • Architect secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation practices
  • Manage and optimize AWS ECS container deployments
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring and incident response systems
  • Create disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
  • Implement network security controls and compliance measures
  • Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance
Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of enterprise network protocols and architectures
  • Advanced routing expertise (BGP, OSPF) and traffic management
  • Experience with large-scale switching and Layer 2/3 networking concepts
  • Proficiency in managing internet connectivity at scale
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies
  • AWS cloud infrastructure expertise (VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudFront)
  • Experience with AWS ECS container services and management
  • Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience implementing monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus)
  • Knowledge of high-availability network design principles
  • Familiarity with data center operations, including physical infrastructure organization and cable management
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of IP address management and subnetting at scale
