A fast-growing IT service provider in San Diego is seeking Network and Computer Systems Administrators at various experience levels to support a Navy customer. The ideal candidates will have experience in system/network administration and cybersecurity. A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and a DoD certification are preferred. Currently, we are seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator - Secret Cleared. This role supports a Navy customer in San Diego, CA.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain an organization’s local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Basic Requirements

A Junior has 3+ years of experience in system or network administration. A Journeyman has 6+ years of experience in system or network administration. A Senior has 10+ years in system or network administration.

Certifications

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) preferred.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

Secret (must be a US Citizen)

On-Site. <5% Travel
