We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior VMware & Storage Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in virtualization and storage technologies, looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The engineer will assist in managing and maintaining VMware environments and Pure Storage systems, supporting Windows-based infrastructure, and contributing to projects that enhance system performance and reliability. Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus, as you\'ll be working in an environment where uptime, data integrity, and compliance are critical.
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work-related education/experience.
Experience: Assist in the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of VMware vSphere environments. Support Pure Storage systems including provisioning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Perform routine Windows Server tasks including patching, user management, and basic troubleshooting. Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and upgrades. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts as needed. Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies, especially in healthcare-related contexts.
