Role Description

The Network Analyst (Top Secret clearance) is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security across enterprise environments. Day-to-day tasks include administering network devices, troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues, and implementing configurations and changes in line with security and compliance requirements. The Network Analyst will perform incident response for network-related problems, provide technical support to internal teams, and collaborate with security and systems personnel to maintain a robust, secure, and resilient network environment. The role also involves documenting network architectures and procedures, participating in upgrades and migrations, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in network administration and network infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization of routers, switches, firewalls, and related components.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and technical support, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with network security, including secure configurations, access controls, and support for cybersecurity initiatives.
• Active Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one in accordance with federal requirements.
• Proficiency with common network tools and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, SNMP, monitoring and ticketing systems).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent military or professional experience may be considered.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.
